I have been continuing to work and explore abstract modes of expression. It keeps me coming back to my studio each day. I made a series of drawings and paintings many years ago that these current paintings remind me of. The feeling is quite different though because the world is significantly different than it was 17 years ago when I first started seriously exploring abstraction. I find that many times my subconscious along with my environment have a profound impact on my paintings. I am not aware of it while creating but it definitely reveals itself over time.
